About Lakhani
DHARMESH M. LAKHANI, CPA AN ACCOUNTING, CONSULTING & TAX SERVICE PROVIDER in 1997 to provide professional financial advise and solutions to individuals and businesses alike.
He received his Master of Business Administration from Monmouth University in 1992 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1997. Prior to moving to the U.S. in 1990, Lakhani was born and raised in Bombay, India, where he received his bachelor’s degree in commerce from the Chinai College of Commerce and Economics in 1983. He went on for further study and became Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Bombay in 1989.
Lakhani was awarded Winner of Executive Game at Monmouth University in Business Policy Class and has been actively engaged in the business community with affiliations as a Member of the AICPA, NJSCPA, NCACPA, Fellow Member of the New Jersey Society of Accountants, Associate Member of the National Society of Accountants, Member of Notary Public since May 1999 and Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Dharmesh Lakhani's professional career has included small, medium, and large companies with revenues from $8M to $250M. As Controller and Head of Finance, Lakhani has worked for these companies and luxury brands: Judith Ripka Jewelry, Inc., SFERRA Bros., Ltd Fine Linens, Aerogroup International Inc. Footwear, Wellington Medical Group, PA, Witmer House Inc. Nursing Home, and Haribhakti & Co. - a Leading Big Six Accounting Firm.
He has extensive experience in the jewelry industry. Dharmesh Lakhani is a graduate gemologist and is the CEO and president of a gold and diamond jewelry business. Dharmesh Lakhani also has several successful operations of franchise food businesses not limited to but including Haagen Daz, Planet Smoothie, Nestle Toll House Café by Chip, Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, Ben’s Soft Pretzel, and more upcoming.
